Began his career in 1992 as an Everton apprentice before joining Chester City in 1994/5 and making 167 League appearances. After moving to Macclesfield he played a further 150 League matches for the Silkmen and was first team captain. Surprisingly released by Brian Horton and joined Bangor, where he spent just over a season before linking up with former manager Peter Davenport at Colwyn Bay [Photo: Bangor City].
