WPL career details for Mark Jones

Bala Town
Gifted midfielder who has spent the majority of his career with his hometown club Wrexham before signing for Bala Town in the summer of 2010. Won two full caps for Wales as well as five at Under-21 level and made 162 appearances for the Dragons, scoring 26 goals after arriving as a trainee in August 2002. After Wrexham's relegation from League Two, Jones was released at the end of the 2007/8 season and signed for Rochdale, where he made nine league appearances. But he was released at the end of the season and returned to the Racecourse. He made his full international debut in a friendly against Liechtenstein in November 2006 and was named in the squad for games against Iceland and the Netherlands in the summer of 2008. Signed for Bala Town at the end of June 2010 and was voted Welsh Premier player of the season by the league managers for 2011/12.
